 Dennis E. Cotter, P.E.
Dennis E. Cotter is a licensed professional engineer and founding partner of CM Engineering, Inc., in Columbia, Missouri. The firm was established in 1993. Cotter’s career spans more than 35 years. He’s been the lead designer and project manager on numerous mechanical and electrical projects that include plumbing, HVAC, lighting, electric power, fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems. Specific areas of expertise include hot and chilled water, water-source heat pump systems, single and three-phase power distribution and lighting systems. Whether designing a small lighting modification or complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for large multi-story office buildings, Cotter is keenly aware of the client’s needs and is committed to outcomes that exceed expectations.
He is an active member of the Construction Specifications Institute.
